Minute X( |
I look at the clock, It says 1:41, I know thinking of you, I'll never be done, You run through my mind, And occupy all my time, Wondering why you're gone, And why you're not mine, I think of you constantly, For some reason I can't stop, Knowing that for always, You'll forever have my heart, My days go by so slow, Cause you run through my head, I said I'd love you forever, Isn't that enough said, You also haunt my dreams, If you know what I mean, I wake up often, With sweats and screams, Why do I sleep by myself, I'm alone in my bed, I know I'll be thinking of you, Till the day I am dead, Now still all these thoughts, Just run through my brain, Cant stop thinking of My ----, I think I'm going insane, I feel like I wanna kill myself, People say that's not what to do, But I turn and look at the clock, And it says it's only 1:42.... |

timeless.
My three favorite parts:
1)"...Knowing that for always,
You'll forever have my heart..."
Not only does this line flow smooothly, but it further defines your obsession as not measured in minutes, but as timeless.
2)"Now still all these thoughts,
Just run through my brain,
Cant stop thinking of My ----,
I think I'm going insane..."
You hesitate, slide you fingers across the word, but you can't admit it. It must be your sanity at fault...
3)"And it says it's only 1:42...."
I loved this part. I could feel a closing such as this coming on, but it still gave me a pleasant surprise. :)

, ati loved this one! i really liked the part were you start the poem you say "its 1:41" and then most of the poem is about how time is going slow and right at the end of this poem you say "it 1:42"
